2022 Ford Maverick Could Be a True Compact Truck

Imagem
This unibody pickup, possibly arriving by the end of this year, should share components with the Bronco Sport crossover. The Ford Maverick will be a new compact pickup truck arriving for the 2022 model year. It will have a unibody construction and share components with the Bronco Sport crossover. Look for the Maverick to debut in the second half of 2021. Pickup trucks have been getting bigger, heavier, better equipped, more capable, and more expensive for years, but  Ford  may soon disrupt the trend. The long-rumored compact Ford truck to slot in below the mid-size  Ranger  is getting closer to reality, and the signs are pointing to it arriving sometime in 2021 wearing a Maverick badge. Here we've illustrated what the 2022 Ford Maverick could look like based on various spy photos and  leaked   images . Rather than a body-on-frame construction, this new model will share its unibody, transverse-engine architecture with crossover models such as the...

Elon Musk Has More Dogecoin Fun — Price Drops 20% Following Latest Tweet

Imagem
Elon Musk, a notorious Twitter troll and the world’s richest man, appears to be having more fun stirring up controversy in the cryptocurrency space. Considering that Musk recently made a  $1.5 billion  Bitcoin  purchase for Tesla, his heavy focus on  Dogecoin  is rather odd. After his most recent Dogecoin tweet, criticizing the centralization of tokens, DOGE took a 20 percent price hit. Musk Barks Up Dogecoin Whales This price decrease coincided with a  marketwide slump  for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin (BTC) dropped 5 percent while  Ethereum  (ETH) fell by 8%. However,  DOGE  has seen a particularly substantial drop, at one point losing 25% from the daily open. This all happened just before Musk  tweeted  out, “If major Dogecoin holders sell most of their coins, it will get my full support. Too much concentration is the only real issue IMO [in my opinion].” Although Musk has a penchant for speaking positively about th...

VIDEO: NOKIA 5.4 REVIEW AND HOW IT COMPARES TO THE 5.3

Imagem
While scientists are still trying to figure out Nokia Mobile’s release schedule, the Nokia 5.4 was announced near the end of last year and just started showing up in stores globally. So is it any good? What areas have been improved on from the 5.3, and what areas took a step back? You can watch my review below: Here are the important takeaways from my perspective: The hardware design is definitely a big standout feature. The glossy back with the camera bump and graphics look really good. However, the quality of materials takes a step back compared to the 5.3. The plastic frame feels closer to the 3.4, and the glossy back does flex if you press hard enough on it. Having said that, you still can’t bend this phone no matter how hard you try. The 6.39″ LCD display is good. It is only limited to HD+ resolution but for day-to-day tasks, the colors, contrast, and viewing angles are really good. Even under direct sunlight, it remains usable. I wasn’t expecting big things from the SD662, ...

SpaceX’s next Starship launch go for Tuesday attempt after licensing dispute

Imagem
Update:  Despite signs to the contrary yesterday evening, SpaceX appears to have received an FAA license for Starship SN9’s high-altitude launch debut or is confident that that disputed license is imminent. According to Mary (aka  BocaChicaGal ), one of a handful of remaining Boca Chica Village residents, SpaceX has asked the villagers to evacuate for an SN9 launch attempt as early as Tuesday afternoon (CST/UTC-6). To be clear, this is not the first (or second) time residents have evacuated in anticipation of a launch attempt that never came, but there is certainly a chance that this particular instance is the real deal. Stay tuned for  SpaceX’s  official webcast and unofficial coverage from  NASASpaceflight.com  and others. The Washington Post’s Christian Davenport reports that SpaceX’s Starship SN9 FAA launch license is close to being approved, potentially setting the company up for another high-altitude Starship launch as early as Tuesday afternoo...
