Imagem
Our MH Wilds weapon tier list ranks all 14 types to help you decide which is the best weapon for you Our tier list below puts three weapons above all others, in the very top S-Tier rank. Those best weapons are: the Bow, Long Sword, and Sword And Shield. The Bow reigns supreme thanks to its unbelievable damage potential and the ease with which it can be used to decimate any monster in the game. The Long Sword is a remarkably well-balanced weapon that makes use of Offset Attacks and dodges to easily avoid damage. And the Sword And Shield gives you amazing mobility and versatility, allowing you to block, dodge, and carve up enemies with either brute force or elemental status effects. All three are exquisitely powerful in the right hands, and deserve their spots at the top of the tier list. Below you can see our best Monster Hunter Wilds weapon tier list in full; keep scrolling beyond that and you can read in more detail about each of our rankings, as well as some notes on the best weapons...

Nintendo Switch would be a lot better with a Virtual Console, but it ain't gonna happen

It would be amazing if we could access retro games via a Nintendo Switch virtual console. Iknow the Wii U wasn't a very successful console, but it had one major thing going for it that the  Nintendo Switch  lacks. It had a Virtual Console (VC) that allowed Wii U owners to purchase and play  428 classic games . This included 95 NES games, 51 SNES games, 74 Game Boy Advance games, 21 N64 games, 75 Sega Genesis games, 31 DS games, and more. While owning the Wii U during its short five-year lifespan didn't provide me with quite the stack of new games that I hoped for, I was able to purchase and play several of my all-time favorite retro games like The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Sonic the Hedgehog, and much more. In comparison, at the time of writing this, the Nintendo Switch is about to hit its fourth anniversary, and all of the available retro games that aren't reworked ports make their way onto  Nintendo Switch Online  (NSO) rather tha...

Nintendo is buying Luigi's Mansion 3 developer Next Level Games

Imagem
The deal is expected to close in March Nintendo has announced its intention to fully acquire  Luigi's Mansion 3  developer Next Level Games.  In a  statement  released today, the company said that the Canadian developer would become a "wholly owned subsidiary," pending shareholder approval. Founded in 2002, Next Level has a long history of working with Nintendo. The companies' first partnership was 2005's Super Mario Strikers for the GameCube, which was followed up by a sequel for the Wii, a console for which Next Level continued to develop games throughout the 2000s. More recently, Next Level has been most notably attached to the Luigi's Mansion series, developing 2013's Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for the 3DS in 2013, and 2019's  Luigi's Mansion 3  for the Switch. It's those games which Nintendo draws particular attention to in its notice to shareholders. Nintendo says that it'll be acquiring all of the outstanding shares in the comp...

Pixelmon Minecraft: Why Pokémon Fans Should Play

Imagem
Pokémon and Minecraft can be enjoyed together, thanks to the Pixelmon modpack, allowing players to have a unique Pokémon journey with crafting. For fans of  Pokémon  and  Minecraft , the Pixelmon modpack combines the best of both games. Pixelmon (unofficially) integrates the world of Pokémon into the randomly generated maps of Minecraft, blending the latter's crafting systems with items and mechanics from the core Pokémon games. Players can battle, trade and explore their unique map, raising a team of Minecraft-modified Pokémon. Pokémon appear around the overworld in Pixelmon, with 3D models that have been steadily improved with each of the modpack's updates. Players can engage the Pokémon they find in battle, either to defeat and gain EXP or to capture and add to their team. They will find every Pokémon species that is currently available  across all Pokémon games , including Legendaries and Mega Evolutions. Pokémon appear at different levels, as well, allowing play...
